CSR has been invited to become a participant in the 2008 Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade. This is a great honor to the series because this event is by invitation only. Televised by three different TV stations this will bring some great expsposure to CSR.
Only show ready cars will be allowed to participate in the event. Doughnuts look good but not torn up cars. Just wait until they see High Tower (Dave Cerer) 6' 4" get out of a car.
If you are a member of CSR or thinking about racing with our series next year and would like to participate in this event shoot me an email or give me a call.

For those who can afford it, having a second body to only show at events is a great idea. It projects you and your sponsors in the best light, especially near the end of the season when those nasty marks, chips and cracks tend to appear on the car. Erik and I have been doing this from the start and its real nice to just switch over to the clean body especially after a race night and you have a show the next day. It's much more cost effective than having a separate show car.

If I race in the adult class, but am only 14, can I still drive in the parade?

Unfortunately any one driving a car in the parade must be 16 years old with a valid drivers license.
We can put your car on one of the floats we have trailing behind however.
Happy New Year everyone and Happy Birthday to my wife today!!!!!!!

Mike, I think they are more concerned about mental age, so no, you can't come.
