I would like to nominate Bill Wendt for a Jr. Director position on the Board. I have found that Bill has a desire to grow this series, and this is exactly what this series needs.
I also 2nd Kevins nominations.

My nominations are as follows:
President: Steve Naples Vice President / Race Director: Dave Kast Secretary: Rose Treasurer: Erle Hoth Jr Director or Directors: Kevin Brown or Bill Wendt (Depends on whether we are having 1 or 2 this year)
I think all of Erles nominations are great people for the job but Erik G, Mick E. and Dave C. all have their cars for sale. Rick V. is planning on moving up to a street stock at the end of next season. I think it is a better idea to have nominees that are planning on staying with the series for a few years. Just my thoughts.

Hi guys,
NO - I am not retiring. You can't get the old man out yet. 10 Years of racing with this club and still going. I still enjoy the racing.
Sorry I could not make the Dells this weekend the accident damage was worse then expected and I need to cut replace some tubes on the chassis. I also found out my trailer had a bad support frame crack and needs to be repaired. That will be heading back to Elkhart - too bad we don't have any more race's down there.
Yes my car is for sale but I do have a backup. I do need to update the information about the car although.
Yes - I accept the nomination for treasurer.
Thank you to all officers past and present over the years that have made this club what it is. I look forward to the opportunity to take our series up another level.
Although I spent more time in the garage fixing and getting the car ready then racing I anticipate being back next year for the full schedule.

Okay, who is accepting nominations and who isn't? I will accept the nomination for secretary.
It's been an interesting experience being assistant secretary, I've met a lot of really nice people I wouldn't have normally met.
Good Luck to all at Grundy, last race of the season. Let's stay safe and in one piece.

Thanks for the nomination for 2010 CSR President.
In the past 6 years of racing in CSR, I have made many new friends and learned a lot about the ins and outs of running a series. In this time I have served as Secretary for CSR and accomplished the following:
• Website Growth o Drivers Cards o Driver Bios o Video Production o Weekly News Updates
• Created the email newsletter/newsgroups
• Created a standardized system to provide every track with every driver’s information, bio, sponsors, etc.
• Created flyers for special CSR events
• Created drivers cards and handouts for CSR drivers
In this time I also spent countless hours on the phone and in person with track officials, media outlets, drivers, sponsors and fans. Outside of being secretary, I’ve been to dozens of special events, car shows, fundraisers, parades, and off-race nights at area tracks just to promote CSR. Because of all the time I’ve put in, I’ve made great contacts with the people that can help CSR, from sponsors, to tracks, to many TV and radio personalities.
Yes, it’s true I have my car for sale, in order to go racing in other forms, I need the additional capital. However, I never planned on leaving CSR. I have additional cars that I plan to run on a part time basis. I believe this gives me the advantage, because if elected President, I will still be at all the races I can. While there, I can be more impartial and observe much more of what is going on, on and off the track, if I don’t have to prepare and race a car.
Feel free to contact me anytime with questions and concerns. As for my platform, I stand for any engine builder but one engine seal. I stand for shaking the lineups a bit more to eliminate “follow the leader” racing. I will work for creating a more standardized, efficient, and faster tech system of non-performance parts, which will include using other drivers to help. I also hope to reduce the mileage for drivers to/from the track and keep our base more centralized. And as always I’ll do the same things I’ve done for the past several years to promote our brand of racing, and I think my resume has proven I can do that well.
Thanks for your consideration.

I would like to accept the nomination for secretary.
Below is a list of some ideas which I would be willing to promote with the approval of the CSR membership and elected board members.
- Providing each track with a professional media guide of CSR drivers, also available to any driver or media outlet.
- Keeping minutes of ALL CSR official meetings and having them posted on the website.
- Assist with website maintenance.
- Providing timely weekly newsletters to drivers, fans, tracks, and media outlets.
- Creating a standardized lineup form for drivers and tracks, and keeping a professional looking dry erase board to announce lineups at races.
- Checking through the rule book and clearing up the inconsistencies/contradictions, closing any loopholes, and cleaning up the infraction/penalties to be simpler and easier to find.
I have been involved in racing and obtaining sponsorship since 1994. Since then I have gained a great deal of experience in dealing with sponsors and knowing ways to keep them happy. Some say I go overboard with documenting all of the interactions I have with LRI sponsors but I feel it is necessary and I would continue this habit as league secretary. I am also proud of the professionalism which I try to incorporate in everything involved with Lawmen Racing. I want to continue with these same values if you elect me to secretary.
Sincerely,
David Cerer CSR Member
