In order for the 2009 CSR Board to better prepare for the 2009 season, nominations and elections for positions will be held much earlier than in the past. Those eligible for positions and eligible to vote must be 2008 registered members. However, parents of Jr division members are eligible to run for a position.
The positions available are:
President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Jr Division Rep. Jr Division Rep. Nominations for those positions are now being accepted until 9/20 (at the Madison Race). Nominations will be announced at the driver's meeting and online the next day. The final vote for these positions will take place sometime within 2 weeks after the Madison Race. More information on how to vote will come later.
In the meantime, to nominate someone for a Board position, you can either reply to the email that went out, email a current CSR board member, post your nominations on the message board or mail confidentially to Lawmen Racing, PO Box 957, Antioch, IL 60002. All we ask is that if you're nominated and dont plan on racing in 2009, you please let a board member know.

One correction that was brought to my attention. Any one may run for a position on the CSR board. You do not have to been a member in the past or even associated with CSR to run for a position.
When it comes to voting, only registered members may vote. One vote per registered member.
