Posted - 07/16/2008 : 01:28:39 FYI its going to be in the mid 90s this saturday at Plymouth. Please pre-hydrate the night before and that morning. Cut soda and energy drinks 24 hours before the race. You should all have a few gallons of water ready. Any Gatorade should be mixed 50/50 with water for best results.
Ive seen some of the biggest, strongest dudes on our SWAT team fall due to dehydration and end up in the hospital. It can hit a lot easier than you think, plus as your body temp rises, your decision making skills drop, which will hurt you on the track!
